Tuesday and Wednesday

Well shoot! I had these great plans where I'd post a video everyday this week but the darn blogger thing just isn't working right and I can't get it to load the freaking things...I've tried for two nights people! It's just not working!!
Wait! I just uploaded them to YouTube and I think I can embed them here:

Tuesday really did nothing for us. School, laundry, crummy weather with the promise of warmer temps to come...

Today I had to hang around the house all day because we were supposed to get a couch delivered from IKEA for the downstairs room. I waited and waited and waited and then got a call about a half hour to the cut off time telling me that they were running an hour late. I couldn't wait past that time because August had an Ultimate Frisbee game so poor Trey had to leave work early to make sure we actually got the darn couch. Now we've never bought a couch from IKEA and I guess we thought that it would come assembled...ummm, nope! This freaking couch is in pieces on the ground. And, yup, that sound you hear coming from the downstairs room? Yup, that's Trey. Yup, he's using words that would make your ears bleed. Good Times!

200

Well, this is my 200th post. I started the blog in December of 2006 as a way to keep all the grandparents abreast of what my family is doing. It's grown from a family journal into a way to keep up with friends and family all over the U.S. and NZ!
I'm pretty happy with the way things have evolved and think perhaps things might get a bit more personal as the months wear on. Spring is here (although our weather forecast is calling for SNOW on Thursday!!) and it's time to clean house...who knows what will be uncovered!

The other day I made note of that beautiful bird necklace...guess what I got?Isn't it lovely?!

Hazel and I spent some time playing Jenga after school today. This isn't something we usually do but with the days getting longer and longer I'm finding the need to fill the space between homework and dinner. August wasn't interested, he just wanted to read in his room (he reminds me so much of what Scott was like as a child).
Thanks for reading!

10 on the 10th

So I was poking around on line and checked in on my cousin's ever growing family, then over to AK's blog to see if she's posted any new knitting projects (love the hat!!!), then over to T to see how her second work week is shaping up (must be a busy one...), had to of course check in on Amy to see if she's posted any news- I know she just got a cute hair cut...but nope, nothing new yet...one day she'll have time to post (or Scott could guest post.........) and on and on I went through all my Internet friends, just to check in. Everyone seems to be doing well in this new year. Then I popped over to Orange Poppy to see how her life is as a mother of 2 young boys when I read about her new goal. She's going to take a picture every hour for 10 hours on the 10th day of the month. Brilliant! I'm joining up. It'll help me focus on my picture taking and allow you a new view into our daily lives.
Wanna join us?

hey there Yakima

So just like my friend AK, I am able to see who's been looking at my blog on a daily basis- Hi Dana, Hey Tania, Hey Grandma Klier and Grandpa Klier, How's it going Scott? Nice to see you Trey! What's up Sara?
Anyway, I'm noticing that there has been someone out in Yakima checking in every so often. I'd love to meet you, or do I already know you? Drop me a note next time you visit.
